KS3 Information
Students in Year 7 and 8 are our Key Stage 3 at Swavesey Village College. We maintain a broad and balanced curriculum that explores a wide range of subjects and skills, providing a solid foundation for our students’ future studies, careers and lives.
Each Year challenges and develops our students in their thinking and study skills, equipping them to organise their secondary school days and form a rounded and balanced cultural outlook on their world.
OVERVIEW OF OUR CURRICULUM https://www.cmatrust.co.uk/how-we-make-schools-great/curriculum/key-stage-3/
Each year of KS3 represents a transition – not only from primary, but in independence and personal development. We recognise that each of our students develop at different times and in different ways; our House system creates a pastoral environment that embodies this nurtured ideal, to support them and their families in these years, towards KS4 and beyond.
For information and dates pertinent to each individual year, please click on the Year 7 and Year 8 sub pages respectively.
We recognise that our students’ Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing sit firmly alongside their studies.
Please visit our page for ideas on how this can be managed beyond our classrooms. Feeling Worried or Anxious?
