Art Courses At Swavesey Village College

At SVC we offer evening courses in Ceramics, Mosaics and Knitting & Crochet.

Ceramics

Come and learn the basics of ceramics on this 6 week course. Lead by two instructors and with full materials included. Classes take place on a Wednesday evening 7-9pm. Please note courses do not run during half term week (26/06/2026 - 01/11/2026)

Mosaics

Come and learn the basics of mosaics on this 5 week course. Lead an expert instructor and with full materials included. Classes take place on a Monday evenings 7-9pm. Please note courses do not run during half term week (26/06/2026 - 01/11/2026)

Knitting & Crochet - Christmas Theme

Led by our expert instructor who specialists in both crochet and knitting tutoring. A short course in which you will learn to create some home made ornaments either by knitting or crocheting. Come along to create a new decoration for your tree or to give as a gift whilst meeting others who enjoy the art of knitting and crochet. Materials not included.

Date/Time: This short course runs over two Monday sessions the 9th November and the 16th of November 2026 at 7.00-9.00pm

The Art Class with Sarah Warnes at Papworth Village Hall

Every 1st Tuesday of the month, (every month but August & September), 10.30-2.30, £175 at Papworth Village Hall

If you love to experiment with new materials and want to explore your creativity in a supporting group of like-minded students, then come and join us.

This class aims to expand and develop your ways of working, taking inspiration from a range of different subjects, and historical and contemporary artists.

Techniques are demonstrated, artistic principles applied and knowledge shared.
