Crochet Amigurimi
Mondays 1st June to 15th June 2026, 7-9pm, 3 Weeks, £30 at Swavesey Village College – Music Room 1
Course description:
..Crochet Amigurimi is the art of crocheting stuffed animals. This term we practice making a stuffed rabbit. You will learn how to follow a pattern that will help you to create more animals in the future. Participants should have a basic understanding of how to crochet.
What to bring:
Crochet needles and wool of your choice.

Ceramics for beginners
Wednesdays 3rd of June to 8th of July 2026, 7-9pm, 6 Weeks, £120 at Swavesey Village College – Art Room
Course description:
Whilst all abilities are welcome, this course is ideally suited to those with basic or no previous experience. This course is run by two experienced tutors who will guide you through getting creative with hand building. Create some seasonal items as well as possible gifts for others. Seasonal being Easter! Plus, Mother’s Day is just around the corner no better than hand made items for the ones we love. We will demonstrate hand building techniques and then the choice is yours, you are free to make what you wish.
All materials and equipment will be provided. Material costs are included.
What to bring:
Wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

If you love to experiment with new materials and want to explore your creativity in a supporting group of like-minded students, then come and join us.
This class aims to expand and develop your ways of working, taking inspiration from a range of different subjects, and historical and contemporary artists.
Techniques are demonstrated, artistic principles applied and knowledge shared.
