Attendance

There are clear links between high levels of attendance and high levels of attainment. Swavesey Village College promotes and celebrates school attendance and expects all students to strive for 100% attendance. If your child is absent from school please contact the House Office before 8.50am, otherwise it might be recorded as unauthorised absence. Term time Request and Authorised Exceptional Absence from School

Family holidays are no longer allowed to be taken during school term time.  Families who take their children out of school for holidays without permission may be fined.  However, there are situations where the Headteacher may use discretion to authorise the absence in exceptional circumstances.  If you feel that such an absence meets these criteria, please click here.

Attendance Registration Marks are recorded during Tutor Time (AM) and Lesson 3 (PM).

Year 7 :

Tutor time: 8.50 – 9.15

Period 1: 9.15 – 10.15

Period 2: 10.15 – 10.45 and 11.05 to 11.35

break – 10.45 – 11.05

Period 3: 11.35 to 12.35

Period 4: 12.35 to 01.05 and 01.40 to 02.10

Lunch 01.05 to 01.40

Period 5: 02.10 to 03.10
