Ballroom dancing is when two people dance together. Traditionally the man is the leader and the lady is the follower.There are two different styles of Ballroom dancing, International and American Style, classified as either Ballroom or Smooth dances and Latin or Rhythm dances.
This course is designed for learners with little or no experience. Covering Lead and Follow, Waltz, and possibly Quickstep, Cha Cha, and Tango.
SINGLES ARE MOST WELCOME BUT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED A PARTNER, ADVISABLE TO BRING A PARTNER. PLEASE NOTE PARTNERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO ROTATE ON OCCASIONS TO HELP WITH LEAD AND FOLLOW.

Modern Line Dancing (Not Country) - no classes 11&18 Nov

Learn new and traditional line dances in a comfortable, welcoming, fun-filled class! Beginners welcome! Teens and seniors welcome! Two left feet welcome! Since you dance on your own, line dancing is ideal for singles and for partners of non-dancers. It's also wonderful for people who want a social activity that doesn't involve dating or partnering or going to a bar to enjoy! Line dancing burns 200 to 375 calories an hour! So, it�s great exercise and enjoyed by thousands of dancers all across the planet. Come on out and have fun, we�ll save a spot on the dance floor just for you!
