School Partnerships
Swavesey Village College has active partnerships with all 8 local primary schools through initiatives in Science, Maths, French, Music, Drama and Sport. The aim of these partnerships is to enhance the opportunities and achievements of pupils in the partner schools and to help to maintain the continuity of education for all pupils from the primary to the secondary phase of their lives.
Development work in the teaching of Science takes place in partnership with Cottenham Village College. The College also enjoys collaboration with Impington Village College and Manor Community School, whose students attend Swavesey Village College to study Hairdressing and Construction as part in its vocational programme.
After 5 years at Swavesey Village College the majority of students progress to further education in the Colleges and schools in and around Cambridge and there are strong links between these Colleges and Swavesey Village College as well.
