    Posted: 10/11/17

It was delightful to welcome back to Swavesey our Class of 2017. It was great meet up again and present those hard earned GCSE certificates to all those who came. If you were unable to come, then please collect your GCSE certificates from reception during term time between 8am and 4pm. If you need to send someone else for them, please provide written permission. We are sorry we are unable to post them.

Last week the students were very resilient walking our 8 mile Sponsored Walk in less than ideal conditions, but still in very good humour.

Please now support your child's efforts by sending in their sponsor money, either to the form tutor or on our just Giving page.

We have set a deadline for 20th October for students to get their Sponsor money in. £3000 is already in – keep it up!

Thank you for all your support,

    Swavesey Village College

    Posted: 18/09/17

Our 2017 Presentation Evening of GCSE Certificates and Awards for Year 11 2017 is on Thursday 9th November 2017. Please arrive from 6.30pm, as we will start promptly at 7pm.

As this is a very busy evening, Parents MUST book a (free) ticket using the Box Office link on the home page of the website. Parents can book a maximum of 2 tickets per student. Please name the student you are a parent of in your booking.

You do NOT need to book a seat for the student as they sit separately in front of the raised seating.

If parents are unable to attend, students are still very welcome to come alone, but please email so we can ensure we have your certificates ready to present on the evening.

We very much look forward to seeing you again !

  • Sports Day 2017

    Posted: 04/07/17

Before the sports had even begun, we had to check the forecasts. Although the weather had not looked favourable on Thursday, we were given the all-clear. We were fortunate enough to have pleasant, warm weather and thankfully it remained this way throughout the day. The favourites this year were Wilberforce and Pendleton, with rumours of form time training showing their determination to win. However, the other houses were hot on the heels of these two sporting giants, with the race for the top spot a tough one. This year’s sports day proved very interesting, with a variety of new sports and old for all to try and win. Will we see any of today’s athletes in future Olympic competitions?
